Joan Stonebraker Cleverly

Joan Stonebraker Cleverly, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep September 20, 2017. Born September 21, 1929 in Coalville, Utah to Robert D. and Pearl B. Stonebraker. Married Robert D. Cleverly May 26, 1947, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on October 4,1950.  
Mom loved her family, always putting them first.  She never missed a game and was her children and grandchildren's biggest fan. She was an avid fan of high school sports, the Utah Jazz and the University of Utah (GO Utes!) She enjoyed many years of league bowling, making ceramics, and crocheting. Mom was an active member of the LDS Church, her favorite callings being the Young Women's Sports Director and Camp Director. She is survived by three daughters, Denise Higginson; Deanne (Terry) Henderson; Christine (Karl) Bankowski; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, Barry; great-granddaughter, Reagan.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woods Cross First Ward, 2064 South 800 West. Friends and family may visit Monday, September 25, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful or Tuesday, prior to the service at 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment at Bountiful City Cemetery.
