Joanna Wilson was born on January 15, 1958, in Salt Lake City and returned to her Heavenly Father on April 22, 2025, after a lifetime of persistent health battles met with determination and grit.
The eldest child of John and Kathleen Wilson, Joanna filled her 67 years with simple joys, taking pride in every sewing project and the keepsakes she lovingly shared with family and friends.
Her faith guided her path. She read her scriptures daily and quietly modeled her testimony of the Savior’s love.
Joanna is survived by her brothers, Mark (Rachel) Wilson and Alan Wilson; her sister, Karen Wilcox; and many nieces and nephews who will treasure the crafts she gave them for years to come. She now rejoins her beloved parents, who preceded her in death.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate teams at Dignity Healthcare & Hospice and Appletree Assisted Living for the tender care and love they offered Joanna in her final days.
A graveside service honoring Joanna’s life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
