Jody Marie Metcalfe

Our beautiful and loving daughter and sister Jody Marie Metcalfe passed away peacefully on December 2, 2015. She struggled in recent years from the effects of Crohns disease, but always tried to make the best of it.  Even though she struggled at times with her health she always tried to be a great friend to all who knew her.  Jody loved life and was someone who loved to interact with anyone she met.  There was never a quiet moment when Jody was in the room, she could talk your ear off.
 
Jody was born February 17, 1963 in Van Wert, Ohio.   She was blessed with loving parents Dave and Jean Metcalfe.  Jody moved with her family to different parts of the country while growing up.  She most enjoyed her time living in California, where she got to enjoy the beautiful weather.  She loved to be in or near the water, it didn’t matter if it was a lake, the pool, the ocean or even a sprinkler Jody would be there.  Jody moved to Farmington, Utah in 2000 where she worked in the accounting field for different firms.  She always took pride in trying to do the best she could wherever she worked.
 
Jody loved animals especially her cats.  She always had a least three or more that lived a life that most of us could only wish we had.  Friends would often say that if I come back in a different life I want to be one of Jody’s cats.   She loved to crochet and garden especially taking care of her yard at her home in Farmington.  She enjoyed working in the yard and always had beautiful flowers. She had a passion for being outside and you could always find her entertaining on her deck behind the house.

Jody is survived by her Mother (Jean) three Brothers (Todd Metcalfe), (Tony Gallaway), (Mark Gallaway), her uncle (Ed Metcalf) and her three cats (Owen, Dillon and Sophie).
