John Lynn Rasmussen

Lynn passed away on May 6, 2016 after a sixteen year battle with Multiple Myeloma.  He was born on October 5, 1939 to John Edgar and Anna Mae Jensen Rasmussen. 

Born and raised in Brigham City Utah.  He married Karen Sue Goodell Rasmussen on June 24, 1964 in the Logan Temple.

Lynn loved serving the Lord and was a faithful father and husband.

Lynn graduated from Utah State University, and worked for Job Services, where he retired.

He is survived by his wife Karen, his three children; Susan Wasescha (Guy), Scott Lynn Rasmussen (Eden), Michelle Engle (Kevin). 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren with two more great grandchildren by the end of the year.  Sister DeAnn Valentine (Jay), and brother Gary Rasmussen.

Funeral services with be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 12, 2016 at the Val Verda 9th Ward Chapel, 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful, Utah.  Viewings will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
