Jolynn VanRy Christensen

Jolynn VanRy Christensen, age 77,  passed away the evening of August 3, 2016. She was born to Otto and Margaret VanRy on September 1, 1938 in Bountiful, Utah. She was sealed to Carl Walter Christensen in the Salt Lake Temple May 19, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Carl passed away in 1991.
Jolynn was employed as a teacher for the Davis School District working with first grade children. Jolynn was a loving wife and mother, caring sister and passionate grandmother. She was lovingly known by family and friends as "Rosebud".
She is survived by her children, Curtis Christensen, Cameron (Mary) Christensen, Cami (Brent) Watson, her sister, Mardee Hanley and her two brothers Otto Jr and Ronald VanRy; as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
During her last conscious moments with her daughter Cami, Jolynn whispered…"Don't cry for me I am going to a happier place where I can mend fences and fix things. I will be happy." We know she is.
Viewing will be held Monday, August 8th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.  Graveside Service will be Tuesday August 9th at 11am at the Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West.
