Jonan Williams

December 31, 1957 — March 22, 2025

Bountiful, UT

It is with incredible sadness that the family of Jonan Williams, 67, of Farmington, Utah announces her passing. Jonan died at the University of Utah Hospital on March 22, 2025, from complications of an unexpected cardiac event.

She was born in Lynwood California on December 31st, 1957, to Bill and Winona Bowles and soon moved to Utah where she met and eventually married her sweetheart since Junior High, Steven Williams

Jonan is preceded in death by brothers Trent and Jeff, as well as Bill Bowles and Joseph Graves. She is survived by her husband Steve and their children Stefanie An, Jonathan (Jennifer) Williams, Sharli (Dan) Bronson, Samantha (Bradley) Mills, and Jameson (Madi) Williams as well as 21 grandchildren (with one more on the way). She is also survived by her mother Winona, mother-in-law Stella, and siblings Mikki, Bryan, York, Tad, Rob, DJ, David, Kathy, Dan, and Jenny

Jonan enjoyed being a full-time mother to her five children. As her children got older, she transitioned to running the Eldredge Manor Reception Center with Steve. She worked tirelessly to make thousands of weddings run smoothly.

Jonan loved to laugh, she loved to read, she loved children, chocolate, and all things Disney. She had a special knack for burning grilled cheese sandwiches. She saw the best in people, and had a gift for making them feel valued just as they are.

She had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many capacities - everything from Relief Society President, working with the young women (she loved the “beehives”), and as the world’s greatest Primary Singing Time Leader. She especially loved her time serving as a senior missionary in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 27th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah. The family would especially like to thank the nursing staff and care team at University of Utah Cardiovascular ICU. And even though she was surrounded by red, she still forever bleeds BYU Blue.
