Joseph Collins

Joseph “Junior” Collins passed away July 26, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Born June 12, 1931 to Joseph and Elizabeth Rolfe Collins. Married Joy Bailey, April 9, 1954.
Joe graduated from West High School and was very proud of his AAU, Golden Gloves and Navy boxing days, and of being a Navy man serving in the Korean War. He was also an insulation contractor for many years, owner of JC Insulation.
Joe is survived by his wife Joy, 4 sons, Joey (Nancy), Randy (Mary Jo), Bret, Kenny (Lisa), and daughter Tami Anderson (Brian) and a special daughter-in-law Sherry Theos and their family, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by his parents, sister Betty Theos and special son Rodney Theos.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 2, 2013, at 11:00 am at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 S., SLC. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Russon Brothers Mortuary 255 S. 200 E., SLC, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and Friday, August 2, 9:30 – 10:30 am. Online guestbook at russonmortuary.com
