Biography

Joseph John Whyte (Jose Blanco) passed away peacefully on Feb. 4, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born March 6, 1933 to Joseph I. and Hannah L. Whyte. He married Paula Jones on September 5, 1959.
Joe attended Granite High School and graduated in 1951. Served an LDS Northern States Mission 1953-54. He served in the US Army at Tripler USAH 1956-57. Attended the University of Utah and graduated in 1961. He worked at the V.A. Hospital, Utah State Health Department, Internal Revenue Service, and Walker/First Interstate Bank.
Joe is survived by children: Brent Whyte, Audrey Forsling, and Mary Ann Davis (Bob); brother, Rick Whyte (Kathy); 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; son, David; infant son, Steven James; infant son, James William; and special friend, Margaret Price.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn (3401 South Highland Dr.) Funeral directors, Russon Brothers. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com
