Joyce Bonacci Tatton 1932-2011

Bountiful- Our beloved mother, Joyce Ann Bonacci Tatton, stepped through the veil on Friday, January 7, 2011 in Bountiful, Utah following a lengthy illness.

Joyce was born Sept. 5, 1932 in Price, Utah to John and Truetta Thomas Bonacci. She was raised by her fraternal grandmother following the death of her own mother when Joyce was 3 months old.

She married Elden B. Tatton, January 17, 1959 in Roy, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on their 24th anniversary in 1983.

Joyce attended Carbon County Schools, St. Benedicts Hospital of Nursing, Carbon College, Weber College, and the University of Utah. Mom was very proud to be a registered nurse. She worked in various areas of health care until her retirement in 1991.

Joyce is survived by her children: Trudy (Bob) Green, John Stephen Shreeve (Suzanne), Krista (Mike) Anderson, Georgette (Jason) Haacke, 13 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandmother, step-daughter Brenda, and 2 great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 am at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to services. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
