Joyce Nielsen

Joyce W. Kennedy Nielsen passed away on November 18, 2013. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce was born on September 28, 1934 to C. Dean and Elaine Woolley. Joyce married James H. Kennedy, later divorced. Joyce married Val Nielsen in March of 2003. She is survived by her loving husband, Val, daughter, Denise (Mark) Saunders and grandsons, Shawn (Erica) and Chase. She also leaves behind the loving and caring Nielsen family, Karen (Chris) Nielsen, Kathy (Kent) Dunyon, Lynda (Richard) Sadler, Forrest (Mary) Nielsen, and Mike Nielsen. Joyce’s legacy also consists of 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Gary Kennedy and Bruce Nielsen. A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary Salt Lake, 255 S. 200 E., from 11-12:30 on Friday, November 22 with graveside services at 1:00 at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 N.
