Juanita Reeves Kourbelas

August 2, 1934 — September 12, 2016

Our loving wife, mother, sister, grandma (“Yia Yia”), great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother returned to her Lord, September 12, 2016.  She was born August 2, 1934 to Douglas Reeves and Gertrude Ranft in Boise, Idaho.  Married Soph Kourbelas on October 24, 1952.  Juanita was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.  She graduated from Davis High School in 1952.  Juanita and her grandchildren and great- grandchildren shared a special love which will never be forgotten and cherished forever.

Juanita is survived by two daughters: Sophia (Dan) Bird and Patti (Ben) Garrison; one son:  Clayton (Theresa) Kourbelas; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister: Patsy (Richard) Stokes, who she loved very much; 1 niece and 1 nephew and their families.  Preceded in death by her Mother and Father, husband (Soph Kourbelas), and son (James Kourbelas) and son-in-law (Ben) Juanita will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City.  Interment at Farmington City Cemetery.  Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.  Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
