Judy Ann Davis born August 5, 1953, in Missoula, MT passed away on October 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Riddle Davis. She was survived by her loving mother, Donna Marie Davis, brother Alan (Karen) Davis, daughter Jennifer (Isaac Allred) and children Alexis and Ryan, and daughter Jessica (Zachary Brandt) and children Kailey, Carson, and Jackson. She was further survived by her husband Jim Biorge, daughters Jami, Michelle, Heather, Holly, and Laura and 19 grandchildren.
Jim and Judy were sealed together June 13, 2020, in the Bountiful Temple where they served faithfully and lived every moment to the fullest.
She loved her grandchildren and always wanted everyone to be together. Judy was the life of the party. She spread joy to her students, neighbors, strangers, or anyone who crossed her path. She valued education and received an MA from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Education from the University of Montana. She taught for 45 years as a Family and Consumer Science teacher, influencing many to continue to pursue careers in the culinary arts. She valued the connections she made with her students and colleagues. She was dedicated and hard-working, participating in FCCLA events with her students as well as national food competitions and triathlons.
She loved the outdoors, growing up in Montana boating on Placid Lake and skiing at Snowbowl. She loved adventures and even survived a 1-month BYU survival trip in Escalante, UT. She loved parties, games, quilting, and entertaining with her friends and neighbors spread out over Colorado, Montana, and Utah. Everywhere she went, she made friends.
Judy was a collector/shopaholic (sorry Tuesday Mornings, you will go bankrupt now that your best customer is gone). The holidays were her favorite time of year, and she decked the halls, roof, and ceiling of every room in her house. She dressed up like the Easter Bunny, Leprechaun, and Santa’s Elf and the costumes were professional grade (Disney would be jealous). Judy lived life the Judy way. She was AMAZING! She was BEAUTIFUL! There will always be a place in our hearts for Judy Davis.
