Julia Teerlink Ince passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 and joined her eternal sweetheart and companion Bill. She was born on September 4, 1925, to Nicholas and Marie Teerlink, in Salt Lake City, Utah, joining her brother Melvin, in a happy home. She attended Salt Lake City schools, graduating from South High School with Honors. She worked as a secretary, during WWII, in war industries. Later she continued her education, graduating in Business from the University of Utah in 1948. There she met and married the love of her life, William L. Ince in the Salt Lake Temple, on September 16, 1947. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She taught early morning Seminary for 9 years and Institute classes for 5 years. She served in many other positions. She loved Temple work, and with her husband served in Atlanta Georgia Temple Presidencies for 8 years. She also served in the Salt Lake, Bountiful, Utah and Toronto, Ontario, Canada Temples for many years. After the passing of her companion Bill, Julia spent much time in volunteer efforts including reading tutor at Oak Hills Elementary school and volunteer at South Davis Community Hospital, where she was Volunteer of the Year in 2004. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sydney (1980) and by her husband, Bill (1998).
She is survived by her children: William B (Holly) Ince, Claudia Gooch, Georgia (Randy) Lowe, Roberta (Daniel) Ord, and Sterling (Jenny) Ince; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Julia requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Julia and her family want to express gratitude to the members of the Mueller Park Ward and the Heritage Place Staff for their kindness and help over the last several years.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main St., Bountiful, between 6-8:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014, at 11 am, at the Mueller Park Stake Center, 1800 Mueller Park Rd (1800 So), Bountiful, with a preceding visitation from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
