Julie Ann Lynch Ford, 51, a beloved Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt passed away peacefully in her sleep August 24, 2014. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Julie was born December 1, 1962 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Kenneth D and Athalene Lynch. She later moved to Bountiful, Utah with her family. Julie was a graduate of Viewmont High School and Bryman Dental School. She was an accomplished chair side assistant, working for Dr. Larson in Bountiful and later Dr. Peacock in Orem, making many wonderful friends. On August 2, 1985, Julie married Jeffrey R. Ford in the Salt Lake Temple. They made their home in Orem, Utah for nineteen years before returning to Bountiful to take care of Kenneth and Athalene for the remaining years of their lives.

Julie loved children and children loved her. Often you would find her playing checkers, tending, and spending time with the little ones she knew among her family, friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all the children who lived around her. Julie loved all animals, especially Sadie and Boston, her cocker spaniels; and cats Phoebe and Callie. She enjoyed many hobbies; loving crafts, painting ceramics, cross stitching, gardening (especially roses) and making beautiful cards for all occasions. She was a tender-hearted person, and was always concerned about others and their feelings.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff and three brothers; Gary (Dorene), Mark (Laura) and Craig (Jewel); as well as her beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Kenneth D and Athalene Lynch and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the 27th Ward LDS chapel located at 1100 N. 200 E., Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday August 29, 2014 at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful, Utah and from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the friendly and compassionate staff at the North Canyon Care Center, where she lived her final months.
