Julie Anne Holbrook Mann, beloved matriarch of her family and a cherished member of the Bountiful, Utah, community passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on August 21, 1944, Julie's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
Julie was the face of Brooks Fabrics, a cherished landmark in Bountiful, where her passion for quilting and sewing shone brightly. Renowned for her knack in selecting the finest fabrics for her store, Julie's dedication to her craft and her customers made her an integral part of her community.
Beyond her love for textiles, Julie had an adventurous spirit. She found joy in travel, especially relishing road trips and exploring new destinations, particularly warm tropical locales. Her enthusiasm for exploration led her on countless cruises and vacations with her beloved husband, Allan, their children, and dear friends, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Julie's warm and welcoming nature endeared her to all who crossed her path. Her genuine kindness and infectious smile left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Julie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Allan (just two months prior), her parents Frank and Josephine Holbrook, and her sister Frankie Jo Holbrook Garn.
Julie is survived by her three loving children: Kristin, Mikel, and Paul. Kristin is married to Jeffrey Rose, and they have five daughters. Mikel is married to Angie, and they have three daughters and a son. Paul is married to Mindy, and they have four daughters and a son. Julie is also survived by her sister Sydna Kay Holbrook Pope.
Julie's presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, Utah, followed by the interment service at 11:30 a.m. at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
Julie's light may have dimmed here on Earth, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply cherished and will never be forgotten and those who knew her know she is again reunited with her best friend.
