Julie Ann Wassom Murray

1958 ~ 2018

Julie Ann Wassom Murray was born Aug 5, 1958 to the late David Arlyn and Joann Kidman Wassom.  She grew up in Tremonton and then Farmington, Utah where she met and fell in love with Dan.  They were married in the Salt Lake Temple shortly after she graduated high school.  They had 4 children, Jessica, Sarah, Brent and Kellie.

Julie was a devoted mother and wife spending the majority of her time caring for her family.  The remainder of her time was spent volunteering for various organizations like Sub for Santa, the local schools, and serving faithfully in a wide variety of church callings.  Julie was diagnosed in 2011 with Posterior Cortical Atrophy, a form of early onset Alzheimers.  She was relieved by the diagnosis.  She fought courageously, happily, and honestly with humor throughout the remainder of her years.  The last thing to leave was her sass; even toward the end when speech was extremely difficult, she could manage a zinger that would make us all laugh.  Dan and Julie shared a love like few have, as he cared for her until the end with devotion.  She was always more at peace when he was around.  We love and will miss Julie dearly.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Arlyn and is survived by her mother, Joann, her sisters Sheryl and Cynthia and her brother Jef (Matt). She is also survived by her husband, Dan, and children; Jessica (Kaylan Harris), Sarah (Kurt Schoener), Brent (Cindy) Murray and Kellie (Kane Stokes), plus 10 ½ grandchildren whom she adores.
