June Anna Snyder Fredrickson, born April 8, 1927 in Roosevelt, Utah to Ruben C. Snyder and Della Lambert Snyder passed away on September 4, 2015 at the age of 88.
June is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Fredrickson, whom she married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 10, 1948. Together they are survived by their five children: Kerri (Mike) Versluis, Brent Fredrickson, Letha Lee, Mark (Susan) Fredrickson, and Dalen (Andrea) Fredrickson. They also have 31 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. June also leaves behind her two sisters who are also her close friends, Laurel (Bruce) Hall and Iona (Edwin) Hall.
June had a great love for flowers and gardening, which she put to use in the flower shop she and Grant owned together, as well as in her own home and garden. June was also an incredible artist and used those talents to serve the Lord as a member of the LDS Church Curriculum Committee where she created artwork for the Church curriculum. She also had a passion for needlework and quilting design, reading, and bird watching.
June's life was one of service to the Lord and to her family. She and Grant had the opportunity to devote themselves to the Lord full time as they served in the Oakland, California mission working with the Vietnamese and Chinese people of that area.
June is a woman of deep faith who looks forward to being with Grant and her family forever.
Funeral services will be held for June on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS chapel located at 950 N. Main St., Centerville, Utah.
The family invites friends to visit Monday, September 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Funeral Home, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, Utah, and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church. Interment: Centerville City Cemetery.
