June Warr

June 7, 1930 — February 5, 2015

June Warren Christ Warr slipped quietly through the veil on February 5, 2015.  She was greeted by her loving parents Albert Elihu Warren and Edith Merna Fewkes Warren to whom she was born on June 7, 1930 in View, Cassia County, Idaho.  She was the third of seven children.

She married Warren Woodrow Christ on Feb. 21, 1952 in Berkeley California.  He passed away on September 6, 1989. They had two children Diana Teerlink and Randolph Warren Christ.  She later married Leland Franklin Warr in the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.

June enjoyed a wonderful childhood in View and Burley, Idaho with her four sisters and two brothers. She attended elementary and Jr High School in View and graduated from Burley High School.  She earned her Nursing degree from 'St Luke's Hospital and School of Nursing' in Boise, Idaho in 1951.  She worked for 35 years in her chosen profession, not only in Idaho but also in California and Utah.  Twenty of these years were with the Kaiser Foundation Medical Group in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California.  She loved her profession and delighted in its versatility and its challenges.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions throughout her life, mainly enjoying her involvement with the little children. She was a temple patron for many years and a Church service missionary at 'This Is The Place State Park'. She was a very sensitive and caring person, loving to smile and laugh and do kindly deeds to whomever she came in contact with.  She loved her family and neighbors and was gracious and courageous through many serious illnesses.  She believed firmly in Jesus Christ and her prayers were often answered in remarkable ways.  She will be sorely missed.

June loved to work in the yard and grew many trees, bushes, flowers and in her earlier life a garden.  She recalls the many times she would put sacks of vegetables on her neighbor's door step and then run away. She delighted in growing roses in every area where she happen to live. Her love of photography was well known.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed weight lifting, pool aerobics, walking and bike riding.

She is survived by her daughter Diana (Adrian) Teerlink, Taylorsville, Utah and her son Randolph Warren (Candi) Christ, Brentwood, California, brother Gary Warren, Burley, Idaho, sister Janet (Arthur) Johnson, Springville, Utah, nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, brother Jack (Iris) Warren, sisters Maxine (Dick) Kelly, Marva (Jay) Harris, Sharon (Darwin) Kersey.
