Justin was born March 14, 1973, in Salt Lake City and passed away August 30, 2023 in Bountiful Utah.
Justin always thought of others before himself, regardless, of how he was feeling or how his day was going. He greeted you with a smile and asked how you were and if there was anything you needed. You could not go anywhere without someone knowing him, or, having a smile on their face to greet him. He always started his Christmas shopping early in the year so he was sure not to miss anyone including his neighbors. You would get a call, months before your birthday asking what you would like. There aren’t enough words to express how kind and loving he was. He had several health challenges when he was born but he never let anything hold him back throughout his life.
At a young age, he mastered Karate. He loved playing all video games and working on the computer. There wasn’t a day that didn’t go by that someone had not called him for advice on how to do or fix something. He met several good friends throughout his life through work and neighbors. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan and was so excited when he saw his first NFL game last year. He loved all sports, wrestling, video games, movies, traveling, camping, and attending events with family and friends.
He will be missed by everyone, especially his sister Melisa who was his best friend, his mother whom he checked on daily and went to lunch with every week on his days off, and his father, who always thought of him as his favorite “ Roadie”, and photographer, who helped him with all musical events. He had many nieces and nephews and dogs that he thought of as family, that brought so much joy to his life, and many other neighbors, and friends ,that he always called family.
He is survived by his Mother and Father: Scott and Gail Boyd, Sister: Melisa Andrus (Tyler) Nieces: Baylee Olschewski ( Erich) PorSha Pulsen (Dayton), Ellie Andrus, Gracie Andrus Nephews: Connor Andrus, Malakai Olschewski, Axel Olschewski—many Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.
Preceded in death Grandparents Dorthy and Art Herrmann, William Robert and Myrna Farley, Ralph and Margaret Boyd. Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A celebration of life will be announced at a future date. In remembrance of Justin please wear your favorite team shirt and go to a game and cheer them on, in his name. Please no flowers, just celebrate his short life, with thoughts and prayers, and hug your loved ones.
