Karen Kerr

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our sister, aunt and friend, Karen Kerr. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah May 21, 1951. Following a series of illnesses over the years, she passed away September 24, 2024, at the age of 73.

She had a passion for art, music, animals, movies and her collection of hearts and rocks. She was a kind and creative soul who strived to help and be there for others whenever she could, who faced life’s challenges with positivity and humor.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen Kerr. Survived by siblings, Tom (Cindy) Kerr, Kathy Kerr, Rod (Becky) Kerr, Renee (Dan) Thor and 12 nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Bountiful High School and went on to work as an Art Director in California. She was a very talented artist. When she returned to Utah, she developed a concrete staining business (Flors) and took great pride in her accomplishments.

Her artistic and unique spirit will be deeply missed.
