Karl Ashton Ray

November 5, 1993 — October 15, 2015

Karl Ashton Ray, a good and blessed soul, passed into the embrace of his Heavenly Father and loving family on Oct. 15, 2015.
Karl, you entered life on Nov. 5, 1993 in Salt Lake City as a treasured son of your proud parents Karen and Jack Ray. You distinguished yourself in school (attending at U of U) and sports, but we know that, mostly, you cherished your time in the out-of-doors. Whether hiking 20 miles a day in the Uintas, fishing beautiful lakes or watching waterfowl as the sun set in a nearby marsh, you loved nature and all of God’s creations. Above all, you always treated others with decency, kindness and respect. For over a year, you volunteered helping adults learn to read. You know, Karl, your parents and siblings could not be prouder of who you were for each day of your too brief life. Karl, we will miss you every day, but are comforted knowing you are now in the care of the Creator of all beautiful things.
Karl is survived by his parents, his siblings Cheyenne and Jacob, his grandma, Omi and Opa, and cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Till we meet again.
