Kathleen Davis

Kathleen Bangerter Davis, age 69, passed away July 21, 2011 at Bountiful, Utah. She was born November 17, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Homer Bangerter and Venna Holbrook. She married Ronald O. Garner, December 17, 1959. Later divorced. Married Verne E. Davis, November 10, 1983 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved being a wife, mother and a grandmother. She and her husband served a mission to Benin, West Africa. Also served 2 years in the Ogden LDS Temple. She enjoyed doing family history research and studying the gospel. Survived by her husband; 8 children: Grant (Kerri), Kenneth (Wendy), James (Maranda), Steven (Heather), Michael (Andrea), Cary (Jeff) Ledbetter, Laura (Curtis) Jones, Katherine (Jacob) Stahl; 7 step-children, James L. (Debbie) Davis, Brent (Debbie) Davis, Lane (Joy) Davis, Karl (Sharla) Davis, Tiffany (Dale) Tietjen, Amber (Michael) McEntire, Sabrina (Al) Sisemore; plus 30 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; and her dear, sister, Maurine Lewis. Preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Bahr; and her son, Carl M. Garner. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Bountiful 3rd Ward Chapel, 51 South Main. Friends and family may visit Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Tuesday morning 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
