Kathleen Rose Jensen

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Kathleen Rose Jensen passed away on June 17, 2018.
She was born September 3, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ford Thomas Rose and Beulah Hinckley Rose.
She is survived by sons Gary and David and their wives, 7 grandchildren whom she adored, and 8 brothers and sisters.  She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Richard Jensen, her parents, and a brother.
Kathy had a great sense of humor, which she instilled upon her children.  She was always kind, full of laughter, and loving to all.  God and family were the most important things in her life. She attended BYU and served there as student body secretary. She worked in many jobs and loved working and interacting with others.  She especially enjoyed working with teens at Bountiful High and in the LDS church educational system.  She exerted a positive and lasting influence on everyone she met.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 South Main, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, and Friday morning 9-9:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
