Kathlien E. Brierley

Kathlien E. Brierley was born on January 23, 1957, passed away on August 25, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathlien was the daughter of John and Lynette Locke.  She married Richard Brierley on June 30, 2017.  Richard and Kathlien were made for each other and though their time together was not long enough, they shared some wonderful memories. Richard was an amazing support, caregiver, and husband to her. Kathlien worked as a certified coder for the University of Utah.  She met some amazing lifelong friends during this time.  She is survived by her husband, children Dawn Barnhart, Erik (Maria) Barnhart, (Michelle & David Hatch), (Michael & Heidi Lyth).  8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and viewings will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Bountiful, Utah.  Viewing times will be Wednesday, August 29th 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 30th, 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Estates.
