Kathryn Goodfellow Nye (Kathy) 1935-2015

Bountiful, Ut Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed peacefully on March 27, 2015  surrounded by her family.  Mom was born and raised on a family farm in the hills of Bountiful, Utah to Russell and Helen Goodfellow on December 13, 1935.  Later meeting and marrying the love of her life and our father Gary Nye January 9, 1953.  Their marriage was one of unconditional love, care and dedication to each other and their three children. Together they built a beautiful cabin where friends and family would come to play. They also traveled throughout many parts of the world.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother’s Kelly Goodfellow and Wayne Goodfellow.

Survived by their three children Dee (Sharon) Nye, Sheri (Danny) Stark, and Tracy (Susie) Nye; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother Jimmy (Sherry) Goodfellow; and sister in-law Barbara Goodfellow.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Viewings will be held Tuesday, March 31,  from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the services.  Interment at the Lakeview Cemetery.
