Keith Bangerter

Keith Bishop Bangerter, age 90, loving husband and father died on Monday, September 8th, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born July 5th, 1924 in Bountiful UT, the son of Eugene W. Bangerter and Lillian C. Bishop Bangerter. He married Myrna Dea Meacham Bangerter on August 13th, 1950 in Elko, Nevada.
Keith was proud of his service as a Merchant Marine during World War II. He enjoyed dancing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He had a special love for cars.
Survivors include Gordon K. Bangerter (ReNae), West Valley; Brad D. Bangerter (Laura), Draper; Denett Hershey (Blair), Provo; Richard W. Bangerter (MaryEtta Chase) Taylorsville; Jeff L. Bangerter (Carolyn), Orangevale, CA; Patty Bangerter (Jim Ferguson), West Jordan; Kathy L. Bangerter, West Jordan; Lisa K. Heward Brackenbury, Sandy. 25 Grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, sisters Betty McIIrath, Salt Lake City; Janice Dean, Bountiful.
Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lillian, his wife, Myrna, an infant daughter Lori, two brothers, and two sister.
Services for Keith were held prior to the interment at Bountiful City Cemetery.
