Keith Eugene Belnap, our beloved Father and our Mother?s eternal companion passed away at the age of 84 October 11, 2004 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. Keith was born in Ogden, Utah on October 10th, 1920 to Orson Victor and Mary Myrtle Farr Belnap. On October 17, 1940 he married Evelyn Layton in the Salt Lake Temple by Apostle Charles A. Callis. They were blessed with three children Clinton James, Lela Lewis Mesa, AZ; Gayle Jensen George, Parker, CO; and Janeen Sheffield Mark of Centerville, UT. Keith was an active member of the LDS Church and held many church callings throughout his life. He was President of MIA and later served on the Stake High Council. He enjoyed being the ward and stake choir director for many years. He and Evelyn served a full time mission for the church in Manchester, England from 1976 to 1977. It was in England where they met Lynne Howarth who along with her husband Richard Isaksen and their children became a loving part of the Belnap family. He served his country for two years in the US Navy during World War II. He was an excellent artist and vocalist. He left a wonderful legacy of musical and artistic talents to all the lives of his children and in the lives of many of his grandchildren. His other hobbies were gardening, fishing, camping, photography, traveling and enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and two brothers Wayne and Ronald Belnap and 3 nieces and 10 nephews. Preceded in death by parents, one sister Lavon and 1 niece. The Belnap family would like to take this opportunity to publically express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Steven Lore who went far beyond the call duty to assist us and our father by bringing so much comfort and peace to all our hearts during the last weeks of our father?s life. To all the nurses at Lakeview Hospital who spent many days caring for dad, we give our thanks and appreciation as well, for the love and support they demonstrated to each of us. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 28th Ward Chapel, 2285 South 200 West. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday morning from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.
