Keith Milton White Jr.

Keith Milton White Jr. was born August 19, 1965 to Keith Milton White Sr. and Donna Belle Reed White in Elko, Nevada at Elko General Hospital. Keith is a fourth generation Nevadan. He was the paternal grandson of Wallace and Nola White of White Appliance and Furniture Company. He was the maternal grandson of Lawrence and Clara Reed, a long time pioneer Elko County ranching and mining family.

Keith was very athletic. Playing baseball starting with Little League, Baseball All-Stars then on into high school. He wrestled and played basketball for the Elko High School Indians. Keith’s summers were spent out “cowboying” with his grandpa and learning construction from his grandmother in Clover Valley. These times helped to form Keith into the wonderful man that he was.

Keith was gifted artistically. He could design and build anything. While attending Utah State he used his artistic talents working with companies on their design teams. Keith loved the outdoors and at 19 started his own fencing company, KMW Fencing. He later built his business into a landscaping company.

Presently, Keith was working at England Logistics. He was able to enhance his organizational and management skills in this job, that he so loved.

He served valiantly in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fulfilling callings in the Elder’s Quorum Presidency, Church Scouting, and the Young Men’s organizations. Keith loved working with the youth of the church. He also worked as a temple worker in the Bountiful Utah Temple and considered the time he spent there some of the most precious of his life.

Keith spent his life serving youth whether he was coaching soccer or volunteering to assist youth in community or church activities. He loved being outdoors and from the time he was small hunted and fished with his father and friends. Hunting as a youth, Keith was always accompanied by his best friend “Bear,” his beloved chocolate lab.

On November 1, 2000, Keith welcomed his first son, Walker Reed White into his life. Walker is one of his greatest joys. On September 20, 2014, Keith married the love of his life, Susan White, and almost a year later, their miracle baby, Boone Jacob White was born on August 18, 2016.

Keith’s greatest joy was his family. He brought joy into every family activity and get together. He was the center of his family’s life.

Keith passed away on February 11, 2017. The void his life has left will never be filled.

He leaves behind his wife, Suzy White; sons, Walker and Boone; his parents, Keith and Donna White; His sister, Brigette (Sid) Smith; his niece and nephews, Nicholette Smith Weekes, Joshua (Jodie) Smith, Shawn Smith, Ryan (Haley) Smith, and Justin (Chelsea) Smith. Keith was preceded in death by his sister Shawna White and Grandparents.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Kaysville West Stake Center, 1035 Angel Street, Kaysville, UT. There will be a viewing for family and friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St, Farmington and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment- Farmington City Cemetery.
