Keith Stanley Webb

November 28, 1932 — February 15, 2022

Our much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, Keith Stanley Webb, passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2022 after a battle with cancer.

He was born November 28, 1932, in Lehi, Utah, to Armond Eugene and Ethel Shoell Webb. He married Lois Miller for time and all eternity on December 18, 1958, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He spent his early years in Lehi, Utah, graduating from Lehi High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict serving four years, with two of those years stationed in Japan (Misawa AFB) as a radio operator. Upon his honorable discharge he attended Brigham Young University and the University of Utah. He received his Bachelors and Master Degrees from the University of Utah.

He was an educator in the Davis School District for 34 years, having served as a Fifth and Sixth Grade Teacher (Layton Elementary). He later became an elementary principal (Pioneer Elementary, Cook Elementary, Antelope Elementary and Kaysville Elementary). He loved his vocation and especially loved all of the children and teachers he worked with. Most important to him was the welfare of each child and he touched the lives of many young people with this love. He loved learning, teaching, traveling, and was an avid reader. Most of all, he loved his family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a great example to his children and grandchildren by the service he gave.

In his community, he served on the Fruit Heights Town Council and was a member of the Haights Creek Irrigation Board. After his retirement he volunteered at the Salt Lake Airport for the Salt Lake Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and also at the Visitors Center on Antelope Island.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the North Central States where he met his sweetheart Lois. He served on the High Council, was Bishop of the Fruit Heights First Ward, and was a counselor in the Kaysville South Stake Presidency. He enjoyed the Boy Scouts, earning his Wood Badge Award and also served in Wood Badge training camps. He served faithfully in the Bountiful Temple for nine years.

He is survived by his children: Julie Ann (Daniel) Spencer, Michael Eugene (Christine) Webb, and John Keith (Regina) Webb. He is also survived by grandchildren: Oliver (Jennifer) Cummings, Jeremy (McKel) Cummings, Cole Cummings, Mitchell Webb, Brady (Allie) Webb, Sierra Dawn Webb, Hunter Webb, Christopher Anderson, Ryan Anderson and four great-grandchildren: Hagen, Reese, Wrigley and Tuck, six step-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Mark (Diane) Webb, brother in-law, Max (Wilma) Elliot and many nieces and nephews that he felt were part of his own family. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Lois, his parents, brother Paul Webb, sister Margaret Elliott, and a grandson, Conner Webb.
