Keith Wyman Jackson Anderson, 66 years old, slipped away on the morning of June 17, 2024, after a continuous battle with cancer. Keith was born on December 29,1957 to Hazel Joan Bartlett and Charles (Chuck) H Jackson. He lost his biological father in a tragic accident when he was 5. Later his mother married Wilbert (Andy) Anderson and Keith was adopted and chose to take his stepfather’s last name of Anderson.
Keith worked as a long-haul trucker for most of his life, only stopping when he was incarcerated. It was something he enjoyed doing and did it well.
Keith was diagnosed with cancer while in prison and endured multiple surgeries. While in prison, Keith found that helping others was something he enjoyed doing. He took care of other inmates who were wheelchair bound and needed extra help. He continued his passion to help others in need after his release from prison, helping others in the halfway house, around the neighborhood, and at work, until he started to need that help himself. While in prison Keith had a change of heart and became fully active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He did everything he could to repent and to get on the covenant path. He died knowing of his Savior’s love for him and was at peace.
Keith is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Joan Anderson, and father Charles (Chuck) H Jackson, and his adoptive stepfather Wilbert Lewis (Andy) Anderson. Keith is survived by his children CJ Anderson and Tyler Anderson, and his sisters Joyce Jackson and Lori-Ellen Coley. Keith lost contact with his family and was unaware of current family circumstances.
There will be a memorial service for Keith on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 1:30p at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints West Valley Transition Branch located at 2370 S. Constitution Blvd, West Valley City, Utah. The memorial services will be available via zoom and contact Mark Oborn at 801.580.1732 if you would like access to the zoom broadcast.
