Kendal Roy Reeser

July 30, 1946 — April 29, 2018

Kendal Roy Reeser, age 71, passed away in his home on Sunday, April 29, 2018 after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer.  He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing.  Kendal was born July 30th, 1946 in Fargo, North Dakota.  He served as a Microwave Technician during the Vietnam Conflict, and he married his Eternal Sweetheart, Donna Kay (Myers) Reeser, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on June 8th, 1968.  Kendal had a degree in electrical engineering and worked for Xerox Corp for over 30 years.

Kendal was well known for his infectious smile and his amazing talent for telling captivating stories.  Kendal had an incredible ability to make friends, and was known as one who never met a stranger.  Kendal loved studying LDS Church History, horseback riding, working cattle, memorizing cowboy poetry, fishing, working in his shop, and taking cross country trips on his Harley.  Kendal was a great example of dedicated church service and dearly loved his Savior.  Amongst his favorite memories are actively participating in 13 years of girl’s camp with all five of his daughters, serving in the Provo and Payson temples, and serving as a missionary at one of the Church Ranches.  He is loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Kendal was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Ruth Branson, and his father, Lowell Milton Reeser.  He is survived by his wife Donna (Myers), his 7 children Newell (Serenity) Reeser, Lynita (Daniel) Rogers, Tonia (Taylor) Howe, Jami (Michael) Gibb, Dustin (Spencer) Reeser-Stout, Shana (Gavin) Elmer, and Teri (Jarom) Giraud and 22 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Rae-Carol (Rob) Moe, and brother Ronald Reeser.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11am in the Mona 4th Ward Chapel located at 65 W 800 S in Mona, UT.  A viewing will be held prior to services from 9am – 10:30am.  Interment will follow at the Mona Cemetery.
