Beloved husband and father, Kenneth Delbert Fowler, age 79, passed away March 10, 2016, in Draper, Utah. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, hard work, and family devotion. He was born in Woodville, Idaho May 9, 1936 to Delbert Fowler and Florence Wiseman. He grew up in Basalt, Idaho and attended schools in Firth, Spencer and Downey, Idaho and graduated from Gooding High School in 1954. He began working for the Union Pacific Railroad shortly after graduating from high school. He married Sarah Luella Millward on February 20, 1957, and was the proud father of one son and five daughters. He served in the U.S. Navy (1956-1960). Kenneth resumed employment with the railroad until his retirement in 1994. He took pride in the fact that he never missed a day of work. Dad enjoyed time spent at his cabin in Island Park, Idaho, and at his home in Scenic, Arizona. He also enjoyed time spent with family and friends in Mesquite, Nevada. He spent every day he could working in his yard and tending to his desert gardens. Dad was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Sarah Fowler, and his children. Cheryl (Chris) Johnson, Kenneth Delbert Fowler, Jr. (Shauna), Donna (Mark) Holcombe, Debra Broadhead, Sheila Fowler, and Ruth (Shane) Morris. He has 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Janice Wade and was preceded in death by his parents Florence and Delbert Fowler, and his sister Ranae Hale.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary with a graveside service held in Bountiful, Utah, March 12, 2016. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
