Kenneth Eldon Sheldon

Ken died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on the morning of December 10, 2017.

He was born on October 30, 1955 to Nevin Nelson Sheldon and Laura Haycock.  He married Cynthia Springer on July 16, 1991.  They had twin daughters Michal and Jessica the following year.

Ken served in the Coast Guard for 5 years after graduating from Bountiful High School in 1974.  He enjoyed the time he spent with the coast guard in both San Diego and Alaska.Ken enjoyed camping with family, roasting “Spider” hot dogs over the campfire, and traveling around the country.  He loved playing with his remote control jeep and loving on his dog Mack.

Ken is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters Michal Sheldon and Jessica Sheldon, sister, Louise Solberg and many nieces and nephews.  Proceeded in death by his parents, brother  Nevin Sheldon and sister Alice Sheldon.

The family wanted to thank the doctors and caregivers at LDS Hospital ICU for the wonderful care that was given to Ken during his last two weeks.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah.  Friends and family may visit Friday, between 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the mortuary and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
