Kevin William Anderson, 25, passed away on April 4, 2014.
He was born in Salt Lake City on October 9, 1988, the fourth of five children to proud parents Steve and Leasa Anderson of West Bountiful. He was a rambunctious child, and everyone in the neighborhood knew him as the kid on the Big Wheel or the boy in the tiger suit. Kevin played baseball and football, received his Eagle Scout award, and graduated from Bountiful High School. Later he completed his Associates of Science at Salt Lake Community College.
Kevin loved music more than just about anything else in the world and spent a large portion of his time and money collecting music and traveling to see shows all over the country. He also had a talent for music and played several instruments, including piano, guitar, and drums. He had been in several different bands from the time he was in high school.
He is survived by his parents (Steve and Leasa), four siblings (Stefani, Nathan, Erik, and Zachary), soon-to-be in-laws Nathan Jones and Hayley Hall, niece Isla, basset hound Lola, and many other close friends and family members who love him and will miss him deeply.
Kevin always had a very kind heart and was accepting of all people. Friendship was very important to him, and he had several friends who were like brothers and sisters to him. He lived by the words, “I get by with a little help from my friends.”
Thank you to all who loved and supported him throughout his life.
Kev, we love you so much, buddy.
