Kevin Butt

Biography

Kevin L. Butt passed away on February 15, 2014 in Farmington, Utah due to multiple medical afflictions.

Kevin was born March 24, 1961 in Helena, Montana to the parents of Jerry B. Butt and Joan Karyl Evans.

Kevin is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, graduated from Bountiful High School, and served a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Canada Nova Scotia Mission.

Kevin married Robin Michele Wright on September 28, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple and were later divorced. Kevin worked at Delta Air Lines (originally known as Western Airlines). He loved going to movies and watching TV. He especially loved sports, and was a loyal BYU and Utah Jazz fan. He was a collector of things and loved conversing with his neighbors and friends at Rose Cove Apartments. He was known for his unconventional humor, pranks, and butt jokes.

Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Joan, and his grandparents. Kevin is survived by his three children: Kyle William Butt (Kelly), Clearfield, UT, Kade Randall Butt, Boston Massachusetts Mission, Kailey Rae Butt, Kaysville, UT; his father Jerry B. Butt (Judi); his siblings Karylyn Bliss (Richard); Kraig E. Butt (Shenel), and Andrea Abbott, and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Kevin’s close friends, Deb and Gary, for their fierce friendship and light hearted antics; relationships of which he often spoke of with love and laughter.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11:00a-1:30p at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
