Kevin Hayward King passed from this life suddenly on July 24, 2012 from heart failure. Kevin was born January 6, 1963 to E. Dennis and Ilene Hayward King in Bountiful, Utah. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1981 and served an LDS mission in the Manilla Philippines Mission from 1983 – 1985. He was Assistant to Mission President Joseph Kjar during the dedication of the temple there and used his talents with all the displays for the Open House prior to it’s dedication. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1992. Kevin was extremely talented in art, photography, woodworking, stained glass and absolutely anything his creativity thought of, which kept his talented hands very busy. He was a devoted son and uncle, always using those talents to benefit his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his loyal dog, Reuben.
He is survived by his parents; his son, Dan King Cairo; and his siblings: Jason H. King, Lonny H. King (Amy), Kellee (Spencer) Heward, and Kyle H. King; he was adored by nephews and nieces, Zackary, Jeromy, Colby and Grady Heward; Katelyn, Anna, Nathan and C.J. King; Courtney, Vanessa and Meghan King.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Centerville 6th Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 East, where family and friends may visit from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
