In loving memory Kevin Scott Small, 64 passed away peacefully at his home in Farmington, Utah September 15, 2017 surrounded by his family. Kevin was born in Salt Lake City, Utah August 27, 1953. He was the son of Lena Joyce Anderson and Delmar (Marshall) Clarence Small. Kevin attended Bountiful High School. He married his best friend, Lynette Swain on May 21, 1982. They have been dedicated to each other throughout their marriage and loved spending time together. Kevin was a great father to Aaron and Jeffrey. They gave him great joy, and he loved them unconditionally. While his son’s grew up, he was very active in the Farmington Area Baseball League, and Football programs. He spent many hours improving the fields and playing conditions. He met many dear friends during his association with these organizations.
Kevin worked in construction his entire life, most recently as a superintendent for Hogan & Associates. He was very talented in carpentry and loved his work.
He enjoyed working with his hands and spent many hours at home working in the yard, feeding the birds, and making improvements to their home.
Kevin was always the life of the party; he enjoyed the company of close friends and a good laugh. He was a very kind man with a big heart. He was generous with his time, always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. He was a friend to everyone and his presence will be missed by many.
Special thanks to Huntsman Cancer Institute, CNS Hospice and his mother-in-law, Relva Swain for their compassionate care. We’re so grateful for friends and neighbors who offered their love and support and were so generous. We’re grateful for employers who were flexible and always allowed us time to care for Kevin as his needs increased.
Kevin leaves behind his wife Lynette, and son’s Aaron Marshall Small (Nedeya), and Jeffery Scott Small. Preceded in death by his parents.
