Kim S. Rawlings, 62, passed away February 1, 2014, in Alpine, UT surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1951 in Preston, ID to Sheldon and Roma Smith Rawlings and was raised there for most of his early life. Kim was a member of The LDS Church and earned his Eagle Scout at just 13. He attended high school and actively participated in sports and music in Preston, ID, Page, AZ and Burley, ID where he graduated in 1969.
Kim married Zenda Hart on March 4, 1971 in Preston, ID and later solemnized their marriage in the Salt Lake Temple. They had 8 children, but later divorced. On July 25, 1997 he married Mary Sue Davis in Blaine, WA and spent the rest of his life with her.
He was preceded in death by his father Sheldon, his mother Roma, a sister, Diane (Rob) Lunt, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Mary Davis Rawlings, eight children, Trista (Peter) Lawrence, Shane (Tiffaney) Rawlings, Dustin (Kali) Rawlings, Angela (Brad) Birkes, Jansson Rawlings, Braden (Carly) Rawlings, Kimberlyn Rawlings Duckworth, Austin (Hilary) Rawlings, 21 grandchildren, a brother, Steve (Jenell) Rawlings, sister, Cathy (Ray) Nash and a brother Stacey Rawlings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the North Canyon 7th Ward, 3350 South 100 East, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Saturday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
