Klane F. Forsgren

Klane F. Forsgren, 79, died peacefully at home on December 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Klane was born September 10, 1936 in Preston, ID, son of John Clifford and Mary (Fuhriman) Forsgren, and the youngest of four boys.  He graduated from Preston High in 1954, received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, a PhD from University of Illinois, and an MBA from Wharton School of Business.  He married his sweetheart Kaye on June 5, 1961 in the Logan, Utah temple, and spent 54 wonderful years together raising their family.
Klane was hard working and incredibly brilliant; he was a great teacher, and a patient man.  His career included working for Rhom and Haas, Forsgren Engineering, and Sinclair Oil.  He was a life-long faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He touched countless lives with his love, example, and service to others.

He leaves his loving wife EvaKaye (Glover) Forsgren, and his eight children: Karrie (Mark)  Beutel; Kelson (Jill) Forsgren; Kurt (Meg) Forsgren; Kyle (Angi) Forsgren; Kathryn (Lane) Cook; Kaelyn (Scott) Wakefield; Keith (Mary) Forsgren; Kamille (Spencer) Brooks; as well as 27 grandchildren who loved him very much.

The family would like to thank those who helped with his care.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Lakeview Ward Chapel, 455 South 1200 East, Bountiful. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Friday morning 9;45-10:45 am at the church prior to services.
