Kyle Gilbert Cannon
October 20, 1958 October 30, 2013
Our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away after a courageous and valiant battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He passed in the presence of his sweet wife Julie.
Kyle was born October 20, 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Sinclair Gilbert Cannon and Catherine Mildred Bang. He was married to Julie Jane Gumm on June 14, 1989 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kyle attended Brigham Young University where he was a member of the diving team. He also received two Bachelors Degrees from the University of Utah. Kyle served in the Anaheim, California Mission for the LDS Church.
Kyle worked diligently for the Salt Lake County Health Department as a Nursing Supervisor, for many years. He also taught many nursing seminars throughout the Salt Lake Valley and was known for his great knowledge and cheerful personality.
Kyle is survived by his loving wife Julie, his children Angela (Johnny), Austin, Alyssa and one grandson, Hayden. He is also survived by his parents and two brothers and one sister.
Kyle was a wonderful man who spent his whole life serving and helping others whether in church callings or at work. Our father was a very determined and strong man who despite a crippling disability, provided and cared for his family whom he loved and continues to love. Our dad will always be missed, loved and remembered.
A very special thanks to all who cared for him throughout the years.
