LaRae Moosman

February 24, 1934 — August 26, 2014

Born to Lowell B. Barkle and Elizabeth Cecile Schiess on February 24, 1934 in Logan, Utah. LaRae peacefully left us at age 80, on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She grew up in Providence, Utah surrounded by a loving family that were very close.
LaRae was a faithful Latter-day Saint and had a strong testimony. She served in many callings, but she especially loved serving as Primary chorister and in Young Women’s.
LaRae was an accomplished artist in both oil and water color. She loved painting almost as much as playing bridge with her bridge club. LaRae had many dear friends.
Married Gordon Gunnell in 1953 and they had 6 beautiful children together. Later divorced. She then married Gene Mossman and they had 30 great years together. Gene died in 2003. Later mom met her sweetheart, Ralph Kielsmeier and he has been at her side EVERY day since. What a wonderful man. He is truly loved.
LaRae’s children were her world, they are: Susan (Dave) Owens, Steven (Kim) Gunnell, Julie (Joe) Walls, Cindy Stoddard, Richard (Kristen) Gunnell, and Brenda Mattucci; sisters: Gayle Barkle, Karren Larsen, Carolyn Smith; and brothers, David Barkle and Mario Estrada; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
LaRae’s family would like to send their sincerest gratitude to the IMC staff, countless neighbors, family members and friends. She was truly blessed.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Park Ward, 1125 North 400 West, Centerville. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Saturday 12-12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services.
