LaRae P Cottle

Salt Lake City, UT-Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend LaRae Poole Cottle passed away at the age of 75 on Oct. 1, 2015 in Bountiful Utah.
LaRae was born December 9, 1939 in Rigby Idaho to Ida Poole Fife and Merlin Fife. She was married to Ernie Davies in January 1956 and later divorced. She married Ed LaMonte Cottle in October 1972 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple.
LaRae was an avid reader and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with a strong testimony and served in the Primary, Relief Society and many other callings throughout her life.
LaRae is survived by her husband Ed LaMonte Cottle; 4 children: Kevin Davies (Cathyrn), Smithfield Utah, Ginger Smith (Doug) Midvale Utah, Julianne Davies(Jim) Princeton Minnesota, Stephanie Allison (Matt) Herriman Utah; 5 step-children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
LaRae was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening October 6, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Russon Brothers Funeral Home 295 North Main, Bountiful Utah. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2015 at 11am with a viewing prior from 9:45-10:45am at the West Bountiful 3rd Ward in Bountiful Utah. 840 North 800 West.
