Larry Wayne Jensen

Larry Wayne Jensen, age 64, was welcomed home to Heaven on December 22, 2018. He passed peacefully in his sleep after living a life full of love, adventure, and service to Christ.

Born on August 12, 1954, to Wayne and Wilma Jensen, he married the love of his life, Susan Park on October 8, 1976. With Susan by his side, they had amazing adventures including three children: Becky (Jason), Jeremy (Janelle), Brad (Karen) and nine grandchildren.

Ever the unconventional, Larry and Susan served a mission for the LDS Church in their 40’s, spent many summers in Seward Alaska, and for the last three years of his life, they have been traveling full time enjoying the Western United States.

Larry loved Susan, his children, his grandchildren, sports, and traveling.  He could almost always be found planning his next adventure.

Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in January of 2017, he never let his health stop him from living and loving life. His recent trip to the Pac-12 Championship with his sons and spending the last three weeks of his life in Las Vegas with Susan are testaments to his desire to enjoy every moment.

His children and grandchildren have been given the legacy of hard work, deep devotion, and an everlasting love of family. He truly loved and lived to the fullest. May we all be so blessed and wise to do so.

Per Larry's request there will be no funeral. A closed casket viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful on Friday, December 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
