Laurel passed from this life very peacefully, but very unexpectedly at Primary Children's Hospital on Wednesday.
Laurel was an energetic third grader in the French Immersion Program at Foxboro Elementary in North Salt Lake. She was an outstanding gymnast and was adored by all who knew her. She was a very sweet little girl, a "daddy's girl" and will be missed more than words can express. Laurel was such a peacemaker. She will be remembered for her smile, her positive attitude, and her kind and compassionate heart. She loved her family and her brothers and she was their one and only "sissy". Laurel loved the gospel and her Heavenly Father. She was baptized just a few short months ago. Laurel will not be far, as heaven is all around us. She earned each and every teardrop that we have shed and the place she holds in our hearts will be forever cherished. Until we meet again, my Love. Laurel is survived by her parents, Matthew and Vayle Isom; brothers Rhett (10), Jackson (6) and Travis (3) of North Salt Lake. Grandparents, Kenneth and LeAnn Isom of Bountiful and John and Pamela Rosenthal of Ammon, Idaho, as well as 28 cousins, 8 aunts and 8 uncles. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Laurel and many other precious loved ones.
A viewing will be held Friday, December 1st from 6:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, December 2nd from 12:30-1:30pm at the Foxboro South Building, 875 Foxboro Drive, North Salt Lake. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 2nd at 2:00 pm at the same location. Interment will be at the Salt Lake Cemetery.
