Lawrence Hatch, 87, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 quietly at his home. Larry was born in West Bountiful, Utah, on March 7, 1931, the son of Lawrence Grant Hatch and Afton Arbuckle. Larry served 4 years in the United States Navy during the Korean war. In March of 1953 Larry returned home and found the love of his life, Bonnie Wood. They wed on December 5, 1953 in Ogden, Utah; just celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. Larry retired in the HVAC industry in 1989. Together they had 4 children and enjoyed many hobbies including square dancing, golfing, and building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. After retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife to warmer weather during Utah cold winters. Larry leaves behind a wife, Bonnie, children Tracy Hatch (Laurie), Wade Hatch (Ethel), Leanne Mason (Bob), Dana Nye (Todd Butters), his brother Grant Hatch of FL (Dalene), 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, siblings Jacqueline Bingham and twin sister Luraine Hyatt, and grandson Tyson Lee Mason. Funeral Services and Viewing will be held at Russon Mortuary 295 N. Main Bountiful, UT. Viewing times will be Thursday, January 10th, 6p-8p and Friday, January 11th, 9:45am-10:45am. Funeral Services will be Friday, January 11th, beginning at 11am.
