Our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Leah Dawn Burbank Reeder, born March 17th, 1935, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2024.
She was born in Richmond, Utah to Charles Day Burbank and Letha Johnson Burbank. She was the middle of 3 girls. She attended schools within the Cache County School District.
Leah Dawn was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held various callings and positions. Her primary beliefs were God, Family, and Country, in that order.
Leah Dawn met Le Grand during a military leave and they later married. They were sealed as eternal companions in the Logan Temple on June 3rd, 1953. They cared for each other to the very end. She was his ears and Le Grand was her eyes.
Her hobbies and interests included: family history, poetry, the Aggies & the Jazz, supporting Le Grand in their business endeavors, and a lifelong learner. She had a very caring and generous heart.
Her passion in life was for her family, they meant everything to her. She will be missed for her continuous love, support, humor, words of encouragement, positive attitude, as well as her wisdom, advice and prayers.
Leah Dawn is survived by her six children; Cindy (Lee (Leland)) Cheney of Stansbury Park; Teresa (Bert) Israelsen of North Logan; Brent (Leslie) Reeder of North Logan; Annette (Steven) Israelsen of West Bountiful; Mark (Georgia) Reeder of Hyde Park; Kathy (Bryan) Hurst of Centerville; 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Le Grand E Reeder; her parents Charles Day Burbank and Letha Johnson Burbank, sisters LuDeen Christensen, Judy Allen. One grandson, Jeramy Israelsen and one great grandson, Jayden Christensen.
Friday evening,12/13/24, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm there will be a viewing at the Russon Brothers Farmington Utah Location. (1941 North Main Street, Farmington, Utah 84025). Saturday, 12/14/24, Funeral services will be at the North Logan 1st ward building (1105 East 2100 North, North Logan, Utah 84321) at 11 am. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:45 am – 10:45 am in the same North Logan location. Interment will be at the Logan Cemetery following the services.
