Leah Kathleen Kohler Lindsay passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 after a valiant, 14 year battle with Parkinsons Disease. Kathleen was born at home on April 9, 1931 in Midway, Utah to Albert F. and Elsie Richards Kohler. She was the 7th child of 13 children. She grew up on a dairy farm, graduated from Wasatch High School and attended BYU. Kathleen married Ben W. Lindsay, August 2, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Their lives were blessed with 6 children. Mom took great pride in a peaceful and inviting home. Friends and extended family were always welcome. She loved to work and took great pride in a job well done. She always had a beautiful home and yard. She was always active in the church and her community. Highlights of her church activity were serving on the General Board of the Young Women and Correlation Committee, an LDS mission in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband and working in the Bountiful Temple. Her greatest devotion was to her husband and family. She is survived by her husband, Ben; children: David (Laurel), Janese Yoho (Jack), Karen, Lewis (Sally), Roger (Julie) and Stuart; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Barbara Christensen, Zelda Isaksen, Elizabeth Ritchie, Margaret Hyde, and brother, Richard Circuit. We as a family want to express out gratitude for the tender loving care given by the wonderful staff at North Canyon Care Center and Rocky Mountain Hospice.
