Leatha Sorensen

Leatha Vance Sorensen passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011. She was holding the hand of the love of her life, her husband, and surrounded by family. She was born December 20, 1926 in Fairview, Utah. She married Vaughn Clair Sorensen in June of 1946, and spent the last 65 years creating a legacy of love with her children and husband, as they were her greatest joy. She raised her family in Bountiful, enjoyed 10 years in St. George, and the last 3 years in Colorado Springs. Leatha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband Clair, 5 wonderful children; Tom (Leanne), Ken(Janet), Ed(Sandra), Bill(Becky), Linda(Kenny)Minear; 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 1 brother, Leon Vance. Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Russon Brothers Farmington Mortuary, 1941 North Main, where a viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment-Lakeview Cemetery.
