Mate Pale, 69, died February 13th, 2020 at his home in West Point, Utah. His funeral service will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at Russon Mortuary, 1585 West 300 South, Syracuse, Utah, 84075, followed by interment at West Point Cemetery.
Matei was born on October 16, 1950 in Tokomololo, Tonga to Lesieli Mo'ota and Ma'ulupe Pale. He's married to Teisa Katoa, January 19th, 1977. They raised 7 children, 3 daughters and 4 sons. He worked as a steel worker for about 6 years in Australia, grew crops and raised farm animals to raise his family in Tonga. He played and coached cricket sport for a couple of years. Matei was one of the kindest and friendliest people you could ever meet.
He is survived by his 7 children, Movete, Lusi(Ryan), Lamasima(Suliana), 'Upangoa(Venly), Tonga(Luana), Raffaele and Louisa. 12 grandchildren Aaliyah, Mariah, Ryan, Ma'ulupe, James, Raffaele, Lisiate, Movete Si'i, Nafe, Teisa, Lusi and Tonga Jr. 3 sisters, Va'eiki, Vialata and Pakileata, 1 brother Tofua 'Iongi.
