LAYTON Leo Ned Baadsgaard, 86, passed away on February 18, 2011 in his home. He is survived by his wife Donna, two children, Marinus (Vicki) and Debbie (Roger), eight grand-children, and eighteen great-grand-children and two brothers, Ray (Luana), and Gene (Judy). He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe, sister, Janet, and grandson, Dan. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He served in the Army during World War II. He was employed with the U & I Sugar Factory in Garland Utah for 36 years and he was water master for Thiokol for 10 years. He always said that he wanted to have a good horse and a good car and he made sure that he did most of his life. He was known for his great memory of names and dates. He’ll be missed by his loving family! Thanks for the tender care provided by Heather, Lisa, and the others from Applegate Hospice. A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North Main Farmington, UT Sunday, Feb 20, from 6 to 8 PM and Monday Feb 21 at 9:30 AM at LDS Layton Creekside Stake Center, 1480 West Phillips Street Kaysville, UT (900 S. Flint Street, Layton) prior to the funeral services at 11:00 AM with interment at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
